Tracker systems
Important feature of the solar radiation is its low intensity level, which requires big area of pricey solar cells for the production of large amount of solar energy. It can be solved as follows:
- Installation of solar cell in movable devices which track constantly the position of the sun, so they can generate sun radiation at 90-degree angle.
The single axis system module follows the Sun's movement from east to west only. The angle between the module and the horizon never changes. During the daytime the photovoltaic is positioned to the greatest extent to the Sun, but it is not always facing it. This particular fault has been solved with the dual axial tracking system. Its module follows the path of the Sun from east to west but at the same time the module gradient towards the Earth (horizon) changes. Thus the module is always pointed at 90 degree angle to the sun radiation which provides optimal conditions for fuller receipt and transformation of the sun radiation. The dual axis system is more complicated but it is also more effective than the single axis one. The tracking device increases the annual output up to 40%
