Domestic waste water treatment faculties
BICON bio-container - SBR type.
The water to be treated in the unit is subjected to contact with micro-organisms and oxygen. These micro-organisms convert part of the organic compounds contained in untreated water into carbon dioxide, water, ammonia and nitrate. The carbon dioxide generated is released into the atmosphere by aeration.
All processes take place in this single tank and take turn in successive stages. It provides opportunity for independent supervision and control of the consecutive process steps via central control unit, which requires practically no supervision.
The whole plant consists of a single tank equipped with aeration system and the necessary control equipment. There is no sludge recycling, since the required activated sludge remains permanently in the tank.
Technical characteristics of the different types biocontainers:
Wastewater Treatment Plants – Bio-container type
Suitable for treatment of effluents by villa and holiday villages, hotels mountain complexes, small villages, separate residential areas.
Advantages:
- Compact size
- Entirely automated processes
- Potential for surface or underground installation.
- Low costs of construction and mounting works.
- Minimum power consumption
- Potential to use treated water for irrigation
Models and technical characteristics
The product range comprises modules with capacity from 50 to 1,500 people.
In case it is necessary to extend the capacity it is possible to add extra modules - 3 pcs.
Single family and multi family house treatment plants
Wastewater treatment plants IntelliBIO
IntelliBIO serves for the biological treatment of domestically sewage from family houses. The treatment process is based on biological processes using a modified activated sludge process with nitrogen and phosphorus removal.
The biological reactor IntelliBIO comprises a cylinder-shaped plastic vessel integrating an activation area and settling area in a single compact reactor. The biological reactor is divided by inside vertically walls into three zones:
- Non-aerated zones (anaerobe zone and anoxic zone for phosphor removal and denitrification)
- Aerated zone (nitrification zone for nitrification)
- Settling zone (for decanting)
The activated sludge treatment relies on converting organic matter in the wastewater to living matter in the form of bacterial growth or sludge. Since the sludge age is at least 30 days, the sludge is fully aerobically stabilized and not subject to further odor-causing biological degradation. A small amount of excess sludge is periodically pumped out. The frequency of removal will depend on the plant loading and it is determined by the staff of wastewater treatment plant based on measurement of sludge concentration or sludge volume. The system is fully automated.
The treatment tanks are installed partly above and partly below ground. As the installation details largely depend on the local conditions, the design should always be performed or reviewed be an engineer.
Waste Water Channel Sieve Grid
It incorporates several functions. Waste water sieving, washing, pressing and transport of filtered waste.
Sand remover
Removes gravel, sand and other mineral particles, which have higher relative weight.
It is used in industries with high level of contamination by sand (potatoes processing)
Removes mineral particles with the size of 0,15 – 2 mm
Effectiveness – up to 97%
